Daytime excitement before you hit the clubs.

It’s no secret that nightlife is a huge part of Las Vegas.   In fact, nightlife is the reason countless travelers flock to Sin City.  If you aren’t coming to Vegas for at least some sort of nightlife, then you are probably a degenerate gambler or old…really old.  However, nightlife takes place at night, and many don’t realize there is more to do in Las Vegas during the day than just the pool and casino in their hotel.

Las Vegas is a city with so much to offer.  From Lake Mead to the suburbs of Henderson to Fremont Street, there is something for any club-goer who is looking to maintain excitement before a big night out or looking recover from the night before.   Lake Mead, which is approximately a 30-minute drive from the strip, offers fishing, boating, and kayaking, not to mention relaxing, magnificent scenery.  Travel a little further out and you can visit the world-famous Hoover Dam, one of the greatest engineered structures in human history.  Horseback riding, hiking, and balloon rides west of the strip in Red Rock Canyon are other outdoor options that will allow you to really take advantage of the amazing weather and mountain views in the Las Vegas valley.

If the great outdoors aren’t for you, and you’re instead more the adventurous type, try indoor skydiving, a shooting range, or drive a real racecar on a real track at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.  All of these attractions are available within minutes of the strip.  Las Vegas is easy to navigate unlike many other cities where crowded buses and trains often seem to be the only option.
