5 Tips for Memorial Day Weekend:

1. The Obvious:  Wear Sunscreen
No doubt many of you will look like lobsters after pool hopping all weekend. As much as you’d like to use the “First I burn, then I’m bronze” line, you should know better by now.  Besides, sun fades tribal tattoos and you wouldn’t want that, would you? If you did burn to a crisp, we highly recommend Solarcaineto aid in your recovery. And check the expiration date on your sunblock (we learned that one the hard way).

2. PDA not PDF
Put booze and beautiful people together, someone’s bound to get some booty. Hardcore tonsil hockey is a given and mostly we’ve learned to look the other way—or gawk appreciatively. But there’s a fine line (and a little fabric) between Public Displays of Affection and Public Displays of Fornication… Yeah, we saw you at Rehab. You know who you are. You just might not know who the other person was the next day.

3. A round of h3O for everyone!
100 plus degree Fahrenheit temps and alcohol do not a healthy person make. It looks like some folks need a reminder to drink water judging by the looming presence of paramedics and multiple people leaving on stretchers. And remember h3O is Mother Nature’s hangover cure.

4. Don’t slip ‘n’ Slide
Those stilettos might work at the club—until you rip them off in pain 45 minutes after putting them on—but you’re going to bite it big time poolside. If you insist on going for the runway look, spend a couple of bucks for non-slip grip pads for the bottom of your shoes and spare us the awkward crotch shot if you take an unfortunate tumble.

5. News Flash: Pools are filled with water
If you’re sitting poolside, quit bitching if you get splashed. In case you’ve forgotten, you’re at a pool. Don’t get pissy if your sky-high Mohawk goes limp from the water or your spackling of cosmetics runs down your face. We’re not sure when the pool became a fashion show, but it’s taking the fun out of summer.

4 Tips for Vegas Bachelor Parties:

You always want to have a good balance of personalities in any group situation, and a Vegas Bachelor Party is certainly no exception.  Avoid any awkward “unvites” by limiting your invitation list to people that you (and your bachelor) know well and that you’ve already had lots of great stories with. And whatever you do, don’t be afraid to leave “that guy” (the one that everyone secretly hates) at home.

Plan your Vegas Bachelor Party keeping everyone’s work schedules and known family events in mind, and since you are a large group of guys – try to not book your big trip on a very busy Holiday weekend (especially if you plan on going to any nightclubs). Once you’ve nailed down a couple of solid possibilities. Talk to everyone and agree on the best time to get everything booked and, if possible, have everyone book their flights and hotel rooms at the same time so that everyone will get to town and be in the same place at around the same time.

You can spend as little as a couple hundred dollars each for a great night out, or enough money to arm a third world country with weapon grade space technology for the next twenty years. It totally depends on what you’re looking to do. Ask your friends what their total budgets are before you set any specific activities in stone.

Now that you know who is coming, when they are coming, and how much everyone can afford to spend on their trips, the next step in planning the Las Vegas Bachelor party.  Also, remember that “technically” the whole trip to Las Vegas is the Bachelor Party, so you really don’t have to limit all of your activities to a single night.  Many nightclubs and lounges have strict standards about guy to girl ratios and unless you have guaranteed your entry and table & bottle service in advance – you will have no chance at getting in. In addition to the nightclub scene, Red Carpet VIP will help you with all your needs most importantly pool parties and strip clubs.

Red Carpet VIP arranges complimentary transportation, free admission (normally $50 per guy) and guaranteed seating to all of its clients via a very special, long term relationship with the hottest strip clubs in Vegas. Whether you are hitting the night clubs, strip clubs, or need to know the best spots to eat and hang out during the day, then Red Carpet VIP can help. Before you make any plans, contact our experts to ensure you are making the best decisions. Your friends are counting on you…show them the time of their lives.

Summer Concerts

Punk Rock Bowling (Sunset Station, May 7-9): What has typically been a zany industry get-together has ballooned into a full-on music fest this year, with the likes of Hot Water Music, Against Me!, NOFX, 7 Seconds, TSOL, Flogging Molly, Fucked Up, The Adolescents, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes and D.R.I. performing outdoors in the Amphitheatre and inside Club Madrid over three days and nights. Full-fest passes cost $80, or you can pay by the show. No bowling shoes required.

Jimmy Scott (Jazz in the Park, May 8): Turns out the high-voiced jazz singer has been living among us in secret for several years, so let’s belatedly welcome the soon-to-be 85-year-old to town in style. As always, shows in this series are free, so grab a blanket and start planning your picnic-basket contents.

Carrie Underwood (Orleans Arena, May 22)

Frightened Rabbit (Beauty Bar, May 24): Even if the Scots’ new-album title, The Winter of Mixed Drinks, wasn’t quite so inviting, we’d have them on our list. They’ve toured with Death Cab and been handpicked for a festival by Belle & Sebastian, so you know they’ve got their melodies down; but the Rabbit’s brand of indie is a good bit more epic than either of those bands. In other words, it’s worth the $10, even if it is on a Monday.

Bamboozle Road Show (The Joint, June 3): The folks behind Warped Tour stopped loving Las Vegas years ago, but they can’t keep the pop-punk and emo fans from getting their fill. Good Charlotte, Third Eye Blind, All Time Low, Boys Like Girls, Hellogoodbye and a slew of others are set to rock the Hard Rock from noon till, well, whenever mom needs to pick up the kids.

Lady Gaga (MGM Grand, August 13): She packed the Pearl in December; now she’s ready to cram the Grand Garden Arena.

Also Performing:

Sugarland (Primm, April 23); The Eagles (MGM, April 24); Deer Tick (Beauty Bar, April 28); Daughtry (Orleans, April 29); Merle Haggard (Cannery, May 8); Kenny Chesney (The Joint, May 14-15, July 2-3);Paramore (The Joint, May 16); Minus the Bear (House of Blues, May 19); De La Soul (Hard Rock pool, May 21); As I Lay Dying (House of Blues, May 22); Nas with Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley (The Joint, May 29); Crosby, Stills and Nash(The Joint, June 4); Reggae in the Desert (County Amphitheater, June 12); Sting & The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra (MGM, June 18);Rihanna (Mandalay Bay, July 17); Carole King & James Taylor (MGM, July 17); Justin Bieber & Sean Kingston (Planet Hollywood, July 24); Rush(MGM Grand, August 14); Cyndi Lauper (House of Blues, August 21

Testimonials for April

Red Carpet VIP is the best!! We have used several promo companies before and this is the first one that we will go back to time and time again. We went to PURE on a Saturday night, with a group of 15, and was still able to bypass the mile long line, and walk right up to our amazing table on the rooftop. We were escorted right away by Kevin, who was great, and even nice enough to come back and check on us several times to make sure we were taken care of. Best of all there were NO hidden fee’s, our quoted price was the price!! We cannot say enough about the level of customer service. THANK YOU!

From my first call to Red Carpet VIP, two weeks from our travel date through our entire stay, Mervat was professional and courteous in answering any of my questions no matter how trivial they were.  Being a Kansas boy, I was skeptical of this big city service.  Mervat was able to ease my worries and made me feel comfortable by walking me through numerous possibilities to entertain my party of 10.  We chose to Tao nightclub in the Venetian.  She hooked me up with my host Jeff and just as Mervat, Jeff was professional and accommodating.  We met up with Jeff at the Venetian and just as they promised, Jeff walked us through the line, passed the crowd and right into the club.  The feeling was amazing, not having to wait in line. The next day Mervat suggested a wonderful Italian restaurant and setup a limo pickup for the gentleman’s club that night.  I would have to say our trip would have been much more chaotic would it have not been for Mervat with Red Carpet VIP.  I will definitely use Red Carpet VIP the next time I am in Vegas.

I can say that if you are going to be in Vegas you must get at least a hosted entry to the club of your choice through Red Carpet VIP and if within your budget to get bottle services, I went to TAO on Thursday 04/01/10 at the Venetian and trust me when I got to the place and saw the line I thought it was going to take forever to even get to the entrance… then Mark called me (my host) and he got me in in like 30 seconds, me and my girlfriend had the greatest time inside  and could not believe how good the service was, the following night we were getting ready for another night at Pure however I had an emergency situation, I got refunded with no questions asked and even got suggestions on what to do outside of what was purchased, I want to give special thanks to Jeff M, he was super patient and gave me a bunch of packages, I’ll definitely use the services again this summer, advertise it on Facebook and tell everyone coming to Vegas, I work for Nationwide Insurance and deal a lot with American Express and I can tell you that the services I receive is up to the same standard, you guys ROCK.
