What’s New for Day/Nightlife in 2013

If you frequent Las Vegas then you already know that the city is growing and changing constantly. Expect more of the same in 2013 as there are plenty of new and exciting changes to look forward to in Las Vegas nightlife. We expect a major shake-up to the DJ scene as well, with all of the new venues looking to lock up some major talent. Here is a look in on a few to come:

Hakkasan Restaurant and Nightclub – Scheduled to open in Spring of 2013. Hakkasan currently has restaurant locations in New York, Miami, Dubai, Mumbai, London and more. The new Vegas location which replaces the former Studio 54 spot at the MGM Grand, will be approximately 75,000 square-feet spread out over five levels.

Light Nightclub – Light nightclub returns to Las Vegas inside the Mandalay Bay beginning in March of 2013. The club returns with a little help from Cirque du Soleil and will feature state-of-the-art production, theatrics and more. This 38,000 square-foot venue takes over the former RumJungle space.

Wet Republic – The pool party at the MGM Grand is getting a major overhaul for 2013. Expect a new look and feel to the popular party this summer. You should expect DJ’s that perform at Hakkasan to resident at Wet as well.

Ushuaia (Rumored) – This one has not been made official as of yet, but rumor has it that the famed party hotel in the Canary Islands could be making its way to Las Vegas and The Delano Hotel (taking over THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay) in 2013. Talks of a 60,000 square-foot party space have us excited to find out more!
